if it has a lock like mine....use ur ignition key.
You can use a screw driver to help pull open a stuck glove box. Once it is open spray the hinges with a degreaser to help prevent it from sticking again.
screwdriver?
open the glove box and look to the right
The handle pin is broken so you just have to pull on the plastic handle down to take it out. You will see a spring on the box. Just push down on the spring and it will open the glove box.

If the 1999 Pontiac Montana glove box will not open with the key, there is probably something stuck in the latch, preventing it from opening. There is also a possibility that the lock was changed by a previous owner if the vehicle was purchased used.
Open glove box and look the the left side of the opened glove box. There is a button there that can be pushed in to turn it off. Also check your owners manual.
