stuck valve in valve body? solenoid valve faulty if it has one?
On my 2005 Element it goes like this. Turn off engine. Press and hold the Select/Reset button on the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch to on. Hold the button for about 10 seconds until the indicator light goes out.
You can reset the oil light by scrolling to the oil life display. Once on the display, hold the scroll button in until the oil life goes to 100 percent
The button which has a red light on it, you should press it (the button) until it goes green. Then your PlayStation is on.
I used this on 2004 Sienna and it worked on my 2005 Corolla. With key in off position, press odometer button and hold. Turn key to on position without starting engine and hold button 3 to 4 seconds or until the nag light goes out. Release button and you are good for 5,000 more miles. Thanks to whoever posted the Sienna fix.
Follow the brake pedal up behind the dash. The pedal arm ususally operates a button that turns on the lights when the pedal is pushed. The button could be stuck.
With the vehicle off, press the odometer button and move the ignition key to accessories until the light goes off. Release odometer button.
Press the odometer button while starting the vehicle. Keep holding down the button until the numbers disappear and the check engine light goes out. Release the button and all is well.
Check the remote to see if a button is stuck. Push every button a few times to unstick it.
1) Turn vehicle off 2) Press and hold reset button near odometer 3) Turn ignition to II position (the one before the engine cranks) 4) Keep holding reset button until maintenance light goes out (took about 12 seconds when I did it last weekend)
1) Press and hold the trip odometer reset/select button 2) While holding the button, turn the key on to the RUN position. (where the key normally rests while driving) 3) KEEP HOLDING the trip button for 10 seconds or so, until the maintenance required light goes off. 4) Once the light goes off, release the trip button and turn off ignition. The light is now reset.
With the car not moving, either running or the accessory switch in the on position and the tire pressure where you want it, push and hold the TPMS button for 5-7 seconds or until the TPMS light on the dash goes out.
You can reset your engine service light by holding in the scroll button. Hold the button in until the engine oil life goes to 100 percent. The engine service light will go off.
