You must have the crank sensor reprogram or relearned by the ECM. This must be done by your dealer with a tech2 or a shop with a high end scanner like a snap-on.

when you changed the soleniod, make sure you get the wires back in the right spot. the soleniod has 2 studs sticking out on it, but it should only have 1 wire that hooks up to it. if you got it back on the wrong post, it wont turn over

There isn't a tv cable on the 96. GM replaced the 700R4 / 4L60 with the 4L60E transmission in 1993. They are electronic soleniod controlled transmissions thus eliminating the need for a tv cable.
2004 Trailblazer. Checked the code and the problem was the engine coolant temp sensor just replaced the part and engine light came on again checked the code and said it was the same part any help?
Could be a problem with the wiring from the computer to the sensor.
