Yes.
basically this device is based on inherent image storage capability.plasma panel and laser scan display is based on this technology but DVST is most widely used in graphical displays
LCD (liquid crystal display)
Most TV manufacturers may have given up on plasma technology, but the public has not. The reasonthe public still purchases plasma televisions is because of price. Plasma sets are "the most affordable large flat-panel TVs for many consumers.
Flat panel televisions are the most popular option if a consumer is planning to buy from a major retailer. Most of the other styles will soon be obsolete.
Usually, the standard is about 2.5 inches.
A computer screen can be called a few things. Most commonly, they are referred to as "Computer Monitors". They are also called "Computer Displays". Sometimes, they are referred to by the technology they employ to display an image, or by other physical characteristics of the device. For example, sometimes the abbreviation CRT is referring to a computer monitor. CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube. CRT monitors are very similar to older televisions. Sometimes, monitors are called Flat Panel Displays. This usually means that it is an LCD monitor.
If the question is "Are the most common flat-panel technologies used for computer monitors?" then yes, they are. If the question is "WHAT are the most common flat-panel technologies used for computer monitors?" then the question is as follows: 1. Liquid Crystal Display monitors are the most common form still. (LCD) 2. Light Emitting Diode Displays are becmoing more popular. They have a more vibrant display, are thinner, but suffer their own problems. (LED) 3. Organic Light Emitting Diode Displays are just on the horizon. These use organic chemical reagents "printed" onto a thin surface in order to display images. Each pixel emits its own light, so there's no need for a back light. This makes these screens far thinner than anything else, and opens up the gateway to having screens that can be bent.
The price of the TV depends on the size of the screen. You can get LCD flat panel TVs on Amazon for less than $500. Most are in the 19-40 inch range.
Not sure what your question is but it seems you are asking about monitor types. CRT refers to Cathode Ray Tube. This refers to a monitor based on a large, heavy glass tube with an electron gun on one end and a phosphor screen on the other. Until the late 20th century this was the dominant display technology for television and data processing applications. LCD refers to Liquid Crystal Display. This refers to a monitor based on a liquid crystal material sandwiched between two panes of flat glass. The liquid crystal is normally clear allowing light to pass through it but when a voltage is applied it turns opaque and blocks light. If the panes of glass have a transparent but electrically conductive grid applied to them then a pattern of characters or images can be produced. If a back light is shined through the flat panel and colored filters are placed over small picture elements (pixels) a full color image can be produced. Most laptop displays and many flat panel TV and computer displays use this technology now. Max L.

Emerson is a budget brand. The screen is most likely made by a Chinese subcontractor.
