Have you replaced the 4x4 controller module located on the passanger kick panel? Mine works again after replacing it!!
how does 4x4 auto work
The transfer case makes it 4x4 not the transmission. As long as the trannys are the same should work
No , starting with the 1995 model year of the Ford Explorer the automatic transmissions were electronically controlled
4x4 auto position for normal street / highway driving
The transfer case for your 4X4 is bolted to the rear of the transmission
I don't know if your Ranger is the same but on the 2001 Ford Explorer the 4X4 module is located behind the right front passenger kick panel
where is the 4x4 fuse located in a 2002 ford explorer.
rear wheel drive ( 4x4 capable if equipped )
super lift carries a body lift for the sport trac
bad brake light switch
check under the truck to see if the transfer case has come unhooked.
the 4x4 might not be engaged right
