Coil? HEI ignition system?
Bad coil? Bad distributor rotor? Bad ignition pickup? Bad distributor cap?
check/change the ignition components(plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button)
its not your ignition its your crankshaft sensor that's the same problem i had.
Try changing your ignition coil....they're a common problem with hondas.
no.... check the fuel injectors, and the distributor set (or coil packs)
it sounds like a bad ignition module.
im having the same problem and mine cranks when it wants too, a guy told me it sounded like the amature in the distributor, its 14.00 so im gonna try that. i had the module on side of dist. checked and it checked fine. i have spark from coil but not to the plugs... but at times it cranks, idles and runs for about an 8th of a mile then dies. hope this helps.
One needs to look at the module in the distributor (test it)and the ESC system (sensor, module, and harness connection). Replacing the whole ignition system is expensive and much more than swapping style of distributor.
try to change the ignition coil.
maybe ignition modual Car Cranks great but won't turn over, have checked fuel pump. I would start with checking the sensors. Cam, Crank, or egc if it is not showing any Codes. I had same problem with my Sebring, thought it was either the fuel pump, distributor, crank/cam censor. Took it to the shop and it was the distributor. May want to check it out. If you cant hear the fuel pump kick on when you turn the key on it may be a bad fuel pump.
try a new ignition coil
replace module, rotor button and dist. cap
