i believe that when you put it in it could make the truck run lean... i have a 1996 dodge 1500 with a "performance" pipe on it for offroad... so no cat... and it seems to be running a little rich at the moment... but i have more work to do on it...
the higher you are, the less dense the air is. Dense air makes for a much bigger "bang" in the cylinder, making for a lot more power.

I talked to mechanic and he fixed 5th cylinder misfire on Dodge engine by changing chank shaft postition sensor. It came out on code reader though.
