If you are late and the pregnancy test is positive most likely you are pregnant. Take another test to be positive then call you OBGYN.

I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant - 2008 False Positive 3-4 was released on: USA: 16 June 2010
I am going to assume that you have a typical 28 day cycle. Most doctors figure due dates, etc., based on a 40 week pregnancy which makes it so that you are 2 weeks pregnant on the day of conception. So according to that reckoning you would be 4 weeks pregnant by the time you could actually take a home pregnancy test and get a positive result. Based on this, you would have ovulated and been able to get pregnant on/about December 30.

id wait for your ultrasound for a accurate date
== == Yes, but you will have to wait until after your period is due to find out (and you can have some spotting even then), so the most definitive way to know if you are or are not pregnant is to get a home pregnancy test. If it shows positive, make an appointment with a health care professional to confirm the pregnancy and get started on prenatal care.Only 75% of pregnant women have morning sickness symptoms in early pregnancy or later in the gestation period. It is normal (and wonderful) to not have to contend with this. As long as you are getting regular prenatal care, and the obstetrician says everything is looking good, you can just relax and enjoy that time, pamper yourself, and prepare for the new baby. See the related links section for a link to an online calculator to help evaluate the potential and probability of a pregnancy based on dates and symptoms.
You may have had a longer cycle and become pregnant a little later than you thought. There is only a week between these 2 dates so it is not enough to worry about. with my first pregnancy, my dates said I was due on September 23rd and my scan said October 4th. I knew I had intercourse on January second, so I guess it just took a while to implant. I didn't get a positive pregnancy test until February 3rd, which would be about right. Second time round my dates and scan were the same and I had a positive test on the day after my missed period. The only time it really matters is if you had sex with 2 men a week apart and need a best guess as to which is the father.
If you are currently 5 months and 2 weeks pregnant, it means that you likely conceived your baby around 21 weeks and 3 days ago. This is based on the assumption that pregnancy is typically calculated as starting from the first day of your last menstrual period, which is usually about two weeks before conception. However, it's important to keep in mind that due dates are estimates and not exact dates, as the exact timing of conception and the length of pregnancy can vary from woman to woman. Your healthcare provider can help you determine your estimated due date and provide more information about your pregnancy.

Ajwa dates may be helpful for pregnant women with diabetes as they are a low glycemic index (GI) food, meaning they have a slower and more controlled impact on blood sugar levels compared to high GI foods. This can help to regulate blood sugar levels and prevent spikes, which is important for managing diabetes during pregnancy. Additionally, Ajwa dates are a good source of fiber and various vitamins and minerals, which can also contribute to a healthy pregnancy diet. However, it is important for pregnant women with diabetes to consult with their healthcare provider before making any significant changes to their diet.
It may take a few months to get your period back--and to ovulate. You might get a basal thermometer to try to estimate when you ovulate and go from there. Still, you may not be pregnant. Save your money on pregnancy tests until you have real symptoms or the basal temperature indicates you might be pregnant. Keep track of the dates on a calendar.
