Same thing happend to my 87 camaro it was the ignition coil, When it heats up the car wont restart until it completely cools. I went to my local pick a part found the part and replaced it myself for 8 bucks good luck

no the camaro wheels are 5x4.75 and the truck is 5x5. so they wont fit

Check the 92 Camaro neutral safety switch next. If the switch is faulty then the starter will not get power to start the engine.
the first thing I would check is, fuel, spark, coil, ignition module
Put gas in it.
