Check fuses, relays switches etc. Probably best to get a wiring diagram and follow the circuit.
The relay is next to the battery. The coil and power module are on the front driver wheelwell.

on a Mazda 626 there is a fuel pump relay check to see if you have a power signal from the relay to the pump, if so make sure there is power to the pump.
Check the fuse. Check the blower speed resistor. Check the blower speed control switch.
Mazda made a b2200 and b2600 truck in 1989.As for performance the engine is rated at 85hp or so and really just a mpg truck not a power house for dragging trailers or too much weight.The truck is great for general use,and driving and hauling resonable things in the bed with ease over all.
check the power steering and check the battery
check the power steering fluid, and check the battery
Check for a loose power steering belt.
I would check the power brake booster
check power steering fluid and check to see if battery is good
check the fuel pressure, and then have someone look at your catalytic converters. Both are common causes of reduced power
