You have not mentioned whether or not the car tries to start by cranking the starter and just will not fire up, or whether it just clicks and nothing happens. It could be the battery, or the starter itself, in this case.
There are three things a car needs to start, fuel, air, and spark, if it is trying and not starting. It is not getting one of these. Please offer more details so that I may help you further.
1) Does the car make any sound when you turn the key?
2) Is it an automatic or standard?
3) If it cranks, does it do so slowly or fast (how many times does it crank in five seconds?)
4) Have you had any work done to it recently?
If you answer these questions, we're well on our way to diagnosing the problem.
