sounds like to me the voltage regulator is bad.
if it is mounted on the fire wall replace it could possible short all of that again
In that year & size engine, the VR is probably integral to the alternator, that is, the alternator & VR is usually changed as an assembly.
The battery ground cable may be bad. The cable runs along the frame on the
passenger side. My '90 Ranger 4.0 had the same problem, found the cable was corroded/frayed at a clamp in the fender area. Replaced the cable, no more battery drain. FYI, NAPA was the only parts store that carried the correct cable at the time I replaced it.
I have heard the alternator does it,cold drains the battery too,if it's not started for awhile can kill it.
Have you had the alternator tested? It may not be regulating the energy to the battery, causing it to drain
It can be a dead cell in the battery which means the battery must be replaced. It can also be a light is on somewhere on the vehicle or you have a stuck relay.
Most likely the starter is "dragging" due to worn bushings. When the bushings wear, the starter will "drag" against the interior of the housing and barely spin, causing the battery to drain.
I would have to say that there is something bad in the circuitry of your motherboard. I would contact the manufacturer to see if you can get your mobo replaced because a CMOS battery should not do this.
have you changed the battery
Check the charge on your alternater.
Yes by not recharging the handset until it drains the battery.
Yes it will, it drains the battery so I suggest to use a regular wallpaper.
Well it maybe that the battery is to small for the truck or the alternator is bad
the battery may be bad, also the starter may be worn out and have a short that drains the battery check that your vehicle doesnt have a remote voltage regulator. and the new alternator may be bad as well
Yes, but it drains you battery fast.
