It is quite possible that you have a dirty or clogged transmission filter screen, or fluid may need changed...or both. If this does not fix the problem, you may have a bad pump in the transmission or a problem in the torque converter. Try taking the car to a good mechanic to have fluid and filter changed....should'nt cost more than $75- $100. Caution: it is not recommended that transmission be pressure flushed at an oil change center. This could make the problem even worse or cause a complete failure.

The transmission may not shift or engage in forward or reverse until the car warmed up for a few reasons. Two examples of why the transmission will not engage is low or no fluid levels or a leak.
The distance between Ajaccio, Corsica and London, England is 1260 kilometers. A flight between them takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes.
The island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea is pretty big. The northern tip is at 43 degrees north, 9 degrees 25 minutes east. The southern tip is at 41 degrees 22 minutes north, 9 degrees 15 minutes east. Each minute of latitude difference equates to 1 nautical mile, so it is easy to calculate that Corsica is 1 degree and 38 minutes long, or 98 nautical miles from north to south.
Remove neg on battery for 3 minutes.

The a/c compresor was working backwards for 5 minutes
The transmission isn't engaged. I just rolled my tractor off the ramp...after disengaging the transmission...then I got on, started it, and it wouldn't move. After 10 minutes of triplechecking the parking break, and randomly pushing buttons and shifting gears...I realized the transmission was still disengaged. It's the little lever on the back of the mower. There's a sticker that tells you what to do.
Disconnecting the battery for at least fifteen minutes may turn the clock light off. Pulling the fuses in the radio consoleÊis another fix to try for a clock light that stays on in a 96 Corsica.
Shoot backwards for an 10 minutes then press F13. This worked for me
Could be many reasons for this.. I would first check that the shift cable was secure in it's position on the change lever on top of the transmission. If this is secure then you have a transmission problem. Possibly the pump or pump drive shaft. Either way trans will have to come off the car and that is the expensive part.
In Settlers IV you can fast forward the gameplay by pressing the F12 key to fast forward 1 minute, press it 5 times to fast forward 5 minutes etc.
