94 E320 Mercedes idling up and down?

On my 1998 E320 V-6 the filter is in the black topped housing in the right front, top of the engine.

left side {driver} of engine below intake manifold

The oil filter on a 94 E-320 is located on the left side of the engines. Towards the rear of the engine.

Its under the winshield wiper assembly

Iam not sure, but if its the same as in 95 Mercedes C280, the oil filter is between the engine and the firewall.

My mechanic told me that it is not advisable to disconnect the warning buzzer, as it is on the same network as some of the interior lights. But I feel the same way as you - TOTALLY ANNOYING. Does anybody else have advise on how to get to the buzzer so we can figure out a way to "muffle" the sound at least with electrical tape or something??

Check your idling speed it might be too low to support the AC motor, so when you turn on the AC the engine dies, try increasing the idling speed a bit at a time.

I have a 94 gmc sonoma with a 2000 model 4.3l engine using a 94 t.b.i.intake and throttle body.only problem i have is it is idling too high around 1300 to 1700 rpm

Hummm!! it Seems it is a known problem with Mercedes from 94 to 98. Is two problems The blower motor resistor can be defective and the blower motor itself.

The fan clutch may be at fault or if the fan shroud is damaged or missing may cause those syptoms.

muffler or exhaust could be damaged....if it has aftermarket exhaust it will sound different since it is not a V8.

MAS, which is Mass Air Sensor, or MAF Mass Air Flow... i had the same problem on my 94 civic, do u have a check engine light on?

It is possible that both cooling fans coming on when the car is idling is normal. The fans are supposed to come on in response to the heat of the engine. So, if the car was idling for a long time, both fans may kick on and there are other conditions which would explain it as well. If it seems that the car is overheating however, you should have it checked out.

Its not obtaining gas or the air filter allot of leafs or fiber in it that is giving the car more gas than needed.

Are you asking out of all the Model 1894's ever made how many were in take down configuration? Or are you asking how many Model 94's were made in take down configurations. Remember, it was called the Model 1894 unitl the 1,000,000th was made and afterwards called the Model 94.

get the poor old thing tuned up , only pay someone that knows what theyre doing ... cuz if you have to ask what to do i strongly doubt youre going to be able to do it yourself

I know that 94 is divisible by 1 because everything is and by 2 because it's even. Dividing those numbers into 94, I get 1, 2, 47, 94 2 and 47 are prime numbers and can't be broken down any further, so that's how I know I got them all.
