if they are like the 85 air bag suspen they have an electronic bleed off valve on the bag
Check your fuse, bulbs and the probable culprit the brake switch attached to the brake pedal. Mine were completely out on a 91 Town car and it was a bad switch. I hope this helps you.

The 1985 Lincoln Town Car fuel pump reset switch can be found in the fuse box. The reset switch will be at the bottom of the third column.
