At this point I would only suspect the idle adjustment being set to low. But check the air filter and ensure its clean. If not replace it. Still stalls then adjust the idle up. The big screw on the throttle body does this. Get the car warmed up and then start backing out the screw to increase the idle. It shouldn't make much difference to its cold speed.
If this doesn't work reply to this response with the changes and lets see where I can point you.
Check the alternator.
Scrap it!
check your idle controle moter. it is probably crudded up or not wotking.
It depends on how wet the engine got. If it will not immediately restart and there wasn't a lot of water getting into the engine if you wait 20 - 30 minutes the engine may have dried out sufficiently to restart however if the engine was very wet then you are looking at a trip to the garage to get it dried out
About four days ago, I had my engine replace in my 2001 Lexus 300. It ran very well until the last two. When the engine is cold it stalls. I will restart but I have to keep my foot on the gas paddle. If I remove my foot it stalls until the car runs for about two or three minute then it's O.K. and run great. What wrong with my car?
The carburetor is simply worn out. You should replace it as repair is very difficult in case the wear and tear has made the float axle smaller than it was in the beginning, or when the float axle has ground the holes holding it so big that the axle moves in its place.
Yes, there are indeed shower stalls for seniors that are easy to get in and out of. They also have shoer stalls with safety bars.
Give your car a tune up or adjust the idle. There is usually a screw on the throttle body. Some don't have any; for those bend the arm very slightly to allow more idle but don't do too much. Your fan belt may squeal if too much is added
Since it is starting from 0, the engine idle is low.
Service engine light on? Running on all cylinders? Bad plug/wire Compression test?
Bone idle
It is very slow or something is wrong with it.
