i would make sure the EGR Valve isn't sticking, and it's circuitry. Also may want to check Idle controle solenoid and it's circuitry.throttle linkage may be sticky too. check all connections under hood.might want to check the computer(may be faulty). hope this helps some. good luck
check fuel pump fuel pump
no engine code begins with E check again maybe B ? b IS 1600CC SINGLEPORT
One common problems is a plugged catalytic converter, if the engine starts fine and then starts to stall or feel like it does not have any power after running for a while it could be the catalytic converter.. the engine starts loosing power because the exhaust has nowhere to go (the catalytic converter is partially or totally plugged) Compression starts to go down causing the engine to stall or die. If you leave the car alone for a while the pressure in the engine goes out slowly thru the catalytic converter leaving the car ready to start again for a few minutes but it will shut down again.
The dealer will typically charge you close to $1000. You could do it yourself however for less than half that amount. I too have a '02 Jetta 2.0 liter and have had it replaced twice now and am getting ready to do it again. This is due to the oil blow by of the bad rings on the engine.
Time when trying to start the car engine trns butwill not start turn key off then onagain it starts right up
what is the problem if a Chevy diesil engine start and run 30 minuits died and start right up again
I had a 1986 Ford Tempo that did the exact same thing. After replacing the relay in the truck of my car, I never had a problem again.
Ignition Control Module are common to cause this. Loss of spark with heat from the engine, when it cools off, starts up.
If you are saying the engine starts and runs for 15 seconds and dies and then starts again for another 15 seconds and dies . . . the distributor seems to be doing its job. You might want to check if there is a fuel restriction somewhere (filter or pump).
Your probably spotting
My sorento cuts out when setting off just after starting the engine. I then try to start it again and eventually it starts?
R u talking about engine coolant... The water in a IC engine circulates thru the engine where it picks up heat and disipates it thru the cooler (usually in front of the car), then it starts all over again. So the simple answer to the question is HEATING
