95 dodge caravan sport 3.3 trans will shift from just being started then stopping will not shift again when this happens trans relay not energizing and solenoid body not making zipper noisespd sens?

Is the speedometer working. Because mine does the same thing but only after the speedo stopped working
Sounds like you have a bad speed sensor which is located on the transmission top and is fairly easy to change on my 96 Plymouth Voyager. The speed sensor sends a signal to the computer and if they aren't working correctly the vehicle won't run correctly or give you speed. These are realitively inexpense from your local auto parts around $30-$50. Thanks Bob
Have the system checked for trouble codes. There are dozens of things that can cause ot not to shift.
