Perhaps throttle plate is stuck open. try to "free " with a screwdriver or perhaps a vacuum leak

the p0507 is the idle control system (high rpm) basically your rev limiter which responds when your VSS (vehicle speed sensor is malfunctioning) causing the computer to think the engine is reving to high so it limits the throttle response limiting your rpm's (sense of no power when appying throttle)....hope this helps Arlen
