Just stick a flat screwdriver in slot next to rear wiper switch to straighten switch and try to stop wipers. It might take a few times but this worked for me! or you could pull the power wire from the wiper motor - remove the plastic cover from the boot lid to gain access ...or remove fuse,take out one at a time until motor stops.

The front wiper reservoir is under the dash in front of the front left hand door. The rear window reservoir is in the back right corner behind an internal panel.
The rear window wiper fluid comes from the windshield wiper fluid tank in the engine compartment on a 2001 Ford Escape
If the rear window is not fully closed the rear wiper will not operate.
