bad E G R valve or check vacum lines that connect to it foe leaks
check your fuel pump, alot of magnas had faulty fuel pumps and due to your car stalling and splattering would be due to the fuel pump.
It can. It can also be uneven fuel supply, poor tuning. Older engines sometimes show their age by stalling under a heavy load at low rpm. Why is the battery poor?
yes
could be a bad cable connection. clean the battery terminals and the clamps on the battery cables. if it continues to do it, check for a bad ground cable from the battery.
Likely Alternator or other charging issues
If you smell wires burning, most likely that is the exact problem. If two wires were to melt together it would short the battery and kill it very easily.
Need to know year and type of car including what motor please.
The Mitsubishi Montero is okay for offroad driving. It is by no means even close to being ideal for it. You're better off looking for a well equipped American built 4x4 Truck.
My Mitsubishi 3000gt use to do this as well. I changed the air filter and it has not happened since.
Stalling while driving may be caused by a collapsing or kinked neoprene fuel line.
Check the oxygen sensor. My 1995 Grand Cherokee stopped stalling while driving after it was replaced.
You need to take this to a pro ASAP. Brake problems is something you do not want to ignore. The car stalling can be related to the brake problems, as in a bad speed sensor. The computer needs to be scanned to retrieve the fault code that is stored.
