96 ford windstar ran out of gas and now can't get it to start?

Try cycling the key from off to the run position 4 or 5 times (pausing in the run position for 5 seconds or so)
What this is doing is powering the fuel pump up to re-pressurize the lines.
If that doesn't work, doublecheck the emergency fuel shutoff / inertia switch. See "Related Questions" below for more on where to find it.
