Hopefully you just have a nearly dead battery, this will be evident by your dash and ceiling lights dimming while you turn the engine over.
If not the battery you either have a problem with getting fuel to your engine, or possibly something wrong with getting spark to your spark plugs.
You need three things to start a car, Spark, Fuel, and Oxygen
Good Luck
Presumably you mean slow cranking. Check for weak battery or bad starter. If not slow cranking so much as long cranking time check for loss of fuel pressure overnight using fuel pressure gauge. If so, suspect leaking injector or possibly leaking regulator.
Quit trying to start my Ford Ranger! Is your Ranger cranking slow (low battery), not cranking (dead battery, bad starter), cranking good but not getting gas (clogs, no gas in tank, bad fuel pump), not getting spark (plugs, wires, coil), or what?
Is your battery getting weak ?
The symptoms of a bad lawn mower battery include difficulty starting the mower, slow cranking when trying to start the engine, and the need to jump-start the mower frequently.
Good battery,slow cranking speed ,noisy,
The armature bushings inside the starter motor are probably shot. Time to replace the starter.
If by stagering you mean hesitating or slow cranking , then you better check your battery and connections. Very hot or cold conditions require a lot of cranking power, if your battery is old I would have it checked out at your local Auto Zone or full service gas station.
It may. It may also be a pulley or bearing going bad.
I guess that the first would be that your car wont start. Otherwise look for slow cranking, spinning but not engaging the flywheel, grinding noises, or possibly a click but no turn but that is more often a battery connection issue or solenoid.
limited info, but id say its a crank sensor. turns over slow and choppy this could be your problem. turns over normal could be lack of spark or fuel. by turning over, i mean motor cranking but not starting. without more info its anyones guess.
slow to start from cold and starts when warm
It can. But it shouldn't."Grinding" and "cranking" from the wheels could be a problem with the brakecomponentswhich grip the wheel to slow them to a stop when you push the brake pedal down. If they are damaged, it will affect your braking time, meaning you have a higher chance of being in an accident or hitting a child in the road.It may also be a problem with the wheel bearings. You should get the vehicle inspected for safety reasons.
