try turning the star adjuster.
The rubber hose that feeds the wheel cylinder has failed. It is restricted internally.
Brake warning light (Canadian) in US there is supposed to be "BRAKE" overlaid on the international symbol. Looks like a brake drum with shoes.
If you are new to doing drum brakes, then remove the drums on both rears and do one side while looking at the other side for reference.

It is inside the rear brake drums. It is the part that pushes the brake shoes out against the drum.It is inside the rear brake drums. It is the part that pushes the brake shoes out against the drum.
With a hammer. Not being funny, but sometimes you must use a hammer to loosen the rust and free the drum to pull it off. It will take more effort if you have heavily scored the drums with bad brake shoes.
Drums and shoes.
Brake drums can not be cut. The shoes inside can be replaced.Only disc brakes(rotors) can cut.
It depends if it has rotors it has pads, if it has drums it has shoes. Hope this helps.
Remove the wheel and tap the drums at back with a 'deadblow' hammer, rotating the drum as you do this. The brake shoes tend to hold drums on.
When the shoes/pads have less than 10% of lining left. When shoes/pads are cracked or damaged. When the drums/rotors are replaced.
