the parts store should ask you if you have a a/c all power etc. depending on that it will tell you what you have. It maybe on the side also should have a part number on a white tag.

How do you change a serpentine belt on 2006 Envoy
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove tension from the tensioner pulley and pull the serpentine belt off the alternator. Disconnect the alternator electricall connectors. Remove the bolts that hold the alternator in place. Pull out the old alternator and put the new one in it's place and replace the bolts. Reconnect the electrical connectors. Put the serpentine belt back in place. Reconnect the battery.
How do you install an alternator belt on a 1986 GMC s15 pickup truck
i brought my car to mechanic they install the serpentine belt # 950k6 is that the right belt
i need a diagram for serpentine belt for 1990 gmc 350
drive belt for what on this vehicle? do u mean serpentine belt,or fan belt,or timing belt?
like drivebelts? Just one serpentine belt.
My suburban has a automatic tensioner therefore I need to do is take the tension off with a long wrench and slide the belt from underneath it and replace it with the new one. The tensioner is right by the water pump. If not then you will need to loosen the alternator bolt and drop the alternator to loosen the tension. Trust me manuals can be your best friend!!
It take only 2 minutes...really 2 minutes. First make sure you have the right belt: there are three different belts (depend of your alternator) and each of them has 5 inch length difference...the best is to bring your original belt to the store and compare (unless you know the alternator amp). To remove the belt, you have to untied it by placing a 3/8 breaker bar in the square hole of the belt tensioner (left side of the motor when you face it) and turn clockwise (becarefull it's a spring-loaded tensioner). Put the new belt: if don't remember the way it goes around the pulleys, follow the diagram on the top side of the fan guard. Easy !!!...GMC ask me $250 for that job !!
There should be a decal under the hood soemwhere
