What is the intercepts 7x-9y equals -63?

7x - 9y = -63.When y = 0 then the resultant answer provides the x intercept.7x - 0 = -63 : x = -9When x = 0 then the resultant answer provides the y intercept.0 - 9y = -63 : y = 7Alternatively, to ascertain the y intercept convert the equation into the form y = mx + c, c is the y intercept.7x - 9y = -63 : -9y = -7x -63 : 9y = 7x + 63 : y = 7/9x + 7

What do the roman numerals MCMXXIX equal?

M=1000CM=900D=500C=100X=10I=1When the I is placed before a X then 1 is subtracted from 10 = 9When the I is placed before a V then 1 is subtracted from 5 = 4So 1000 + 900 + 10 + 10 +9 = 1929The original answer was entirely deleted by WikiAnswers contributor Viki101 in whose view the answer should have been as the above. The original answer was as follows:In today's terms the Roman numerals MCMXXIX represent the number 1929.But in the times of the Romans themselves they would almost probably have written out 1929 as MDCCCCXXVIIII.

Where did Jesus do his fist miracle?

Luke 21And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:2And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.3And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.4Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.6And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.7Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,10And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.11This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

How do you install a 3 battery bank on a boat?

DIODES are one way doors for electricity, this is how we will do this.I assume you want to have 3 battery banks, 2 for the house, 1 for the motors. The house batteries are already isolated from the engine up front with a diode, first thing to do is find it, splice the cable above the diode, and add another leg of wire and a diode.IF the diode is inside a heatsink (large hunk of metal with fan blades), you may need to get another battery isolator (name for diodes with fan blade heatsink). The diodes or isolators will allow the power from the alternator to go back to the second bank of batteries, but the house can never affect the engine battery so you can always go home.If the batteries are of different age, size or type, isolate them. When you set it up this way, you are also very flexible when it comes to buying more batteries. Separate the charging regimen for each bank with one piece of equipment. This 3 bank charger works great. http://www.bdbatteries.com/chargers.php?id=9When we talk about the ships power system, each battery bank hooks to the input side with a diode to block power from the other battery bank. Call www.bdbatteries.com, or sail into Newport Harbor and have www.coastalbatteries.com help you out.

Who pronounced Jesus birth?

Luke 2:6-16 an angel of the Lord announced the birth of Christ.6And it came to pass while they were there the days of her giving birth were fulfilled, 7and she gave birth to her firstborn son, and she wrapped him up with cloth bands and laid him in a manger, because there was for them no place in the inn.8And there were shepherds in the same region staying out in the fields and keeping watch at night over their flock. 9When an angel of the Lord stood by them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were afraid with a great fear. 10 But the angel said to them, "Do not fear, for behold I proclaim the Good News to you of a great joy that will be for all the people, 11 for there has been born for you today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, in the town of David. 12And this will be for you the sign, you will find the baby wrapped up in cloth bands and lying in a manger. 13And suddenly it came to pass with the angel a great company of the heavenly army, praising God and saying,14"Glory in the highest to God, and on earth peace among men of his favor."15And It came to pass when the angels departed from them into heaven, the shepherds repeatedly said to one another, "Let us go over then as far as Bethlehem and let us see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us."16So they went with haste and they discovered Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger; 17and having seen them, they made known about the word that had been spoken to them about this child.

How many verses in John Chapter 1?

There are 25 verses in John 2: 1And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. 11This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. 12After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days. 13And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 15And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; 16And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. 17And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. 18Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? 19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21But he spake of the temple of his body. 22When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. 23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, 25And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Where did the wisemen find Jesus?

Matthew 2 1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

How does the bible relate to a woman who is divorced but not by choice he left you to marry another now you are married and you are living a God loving household?

ANSWERThe Bible clearly says remain single or be reconciled to your covenant partner. If your husband has remarried, that still applies until he is dead. However, if you were not a Christian until your current marriage, you are to remain in this relationship, now that you know the truth. When people are married, they make a vow, a covenant with God. It is not to be broken, it is forever till death do you part. Many think the Bible says it is alright to remarry if adultry occurs with the other partner, but in the Bible it is fornication, which is different than adultry. Many dismiss this because they don't want to be held to it, but it is what God asks. If more estranged partners would really commit to praying and stand in the gap for reconcilation, more marriages would be restored. Remember the right road is narrow and few take it, but the rewards are great. The Bible also said that others stoned women who looked at other men or betrayed her husband. However, I believe God doesn't expect any woman to stay in a physically/mentally abusive relationship. If children are involved it is actually up to both parents to protect them with everything they have (a sin against God if you don't) so, that leaves a wide berth as to when one should leave their wife or husband. I am a Christian, my first husband was an abusive man and I remarried several years later and believe me, I did a lot of soul searching. I must have done something right because I have been married to my second husband for 34 wonderful years. What the Bible says about Divorce Deuteronomy 22:13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her....Deuteronomy 24:1-2 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.Is divorce ever permissible?Divorce is never permissible. Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery. -- Mark 10:11 Whosoever putteth away his wife and marrieth another, committeth adultery. -- Luke 16:18Only when the wife is unfaithfulWhosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery. -- Matthew 5:32Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery. -- Matthew 19:9When the 'unbelieving' partner chooses to leaveBut if the unbelieving depart, let him depart.
