I have had spotting with all three of my pregnancies and the doctor always told me that if the spotting is bright red you need to call your doctor and be checked out. It may be fine but often they prescribe bedrest until it stops or do some testing to make sure the baby is still thriving. A call to your doctor would be wise and give you some peace of mind.
Depends on how much blood is there, if the bleeding is increasing from a day to another( and maybe the cramping will start during some days). Check also the level of HCG in dynamics(every 2 days) to see if will go up or down. And see if the symptoms of pregnancy are still present. I am telling you this from my experience, from what I am going now:arround 6 wks pregnant I start bleeding with some cramps, exactly like on the period; and my breasts are not tense anymore... I am pretty sure I have a miscarriage. My HCG level is very low and I will go today(15.09.2010) to make an ultrasound to see exactly what is happening, but my hopes are not very high. I don't want you to be scared, but go to the doctor, together you will see what is the situation.
im 16 and i was supposed to start my period a couple weeks ago and i never did now i am spotting brown blood i was wondering if anyone could tell me what that means
Spotting in the 1st month usually means nothing unless it is accompanied by cramping. I have had 4 successful pregnancies and have spotted light brown/pinkish with no complications with the babies. If the bleeding becomes heavy or cramping starts you should definitely see a doctor and express your concerns
Take a pregnancy test to find out. Back pain is not the chief symptom of pregnancy, and brown spotting can be normal with the IUD.
No your not pregnant. You can only be pregnant if you miss your period completely.
brown spotting , no heartbeat in u/s brown spotting , no heartbeat in u/s brown spotting , no heartbeat in u/s
If it is a boy, yes. If it is a boy, yes.
I am actually having the same thing right now and I am 6 weeks pregnant. Very light spotting (pink/brown) and I had mild cramping yesterday. When I was pregnant with my son I also had spotting at around 6 weeks. If it gets heavier and you have more cramping call your doctor. I am having an ultra sound in 2 days jut to make sure everything is alright. Best of luck.
Pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms overlap one another so much it's ridiculous. If you are worried that you may be pregnant, you need to take a home pregnancy test. If you have had sex without the use of protection, you could be pregnant. It does not matter what time of the month it is for you. Even if you did use protection, there is still a small chance you could get pregnant. If you are pregnant, the brown spotting is likely implantation bleeding. The stomach cramping due to your uterus preparing, and the backache is probably uterine related also. But, cramping, backaches, and spotting are also PMS symptoms. Take a pregnancy test.
Very common. Brown blood is old blood and should not be too concerning. If you begin spotting red blood or experience cramping you should contact your OB.
Yes, it is normal to have brown spotting while on the pill, particularly if you have recently started taking it or have changed brands. Brown spotting while on the pill can occur in place of a regular period.
Probably. Spotting is normal. If you soak through more than one pad in an hour, though, go to the hospital.
no not normal
