The higher the wattage, the more electrical energy is being used. In a light bulb the electrical energy is converted to EM energy which appears in both visible and infrared parts of the spectrum, so the answer is no, it will be at a higher rate for a 100 watt bulb

Do brainwaves travel faster or slower than the speed of light?

More slowly. Brain waves are electrical impulses in the brain, and are VERY slow compared to electromagnetic energy in free space.

Do faster atoms have more potential energy than slower atoms?

faster atoms have more kinetic energy than slower atoms do.

A molecule moves faster or slower depending on the amount of what energy?

Kinetic

When will an eletromagnetic wave travel slower than the speed of light?

Light is an electromagnetic wave. All types of electromagnetic wave travel at the same speed,as long as they're traveling through the same stuff. The speed is 299,792,458 meters per second in vacuum, andsomewhat slower in any material. The exact speed dependson the material, and it's different for every material.

Is potential energy slower than kinetic energy?

Potential energy is unreleased energy - an unmoving rock at the top of a cliff, or a stick of dynamite. Potential energy becomes kinetic energy when it is released - the rock is falling from the cliff, or the stick of dynamite is exploding. So technically the answer is yes. Kinetic even means "motion"! But be careful about saying that potential energy is "slower" than kinetic, or in trying to distinguish between the two based on how fast you perceive an object to move. Kinetic energy doesn't necessarily make an object "look" as if it is moving faster. For example, heating water in a microwave converts potential energy (a difference in voltage between the two prongs of the microwave plug) into kinetic energy (an increase in the temperature of the water), but the water doesn't "look" as if it is going "faster" until it actually boils - the actual change in velocity is at the molecular level of the water.

When you turn anything electrical on your car the car gets slower?

that is such a lie the electronics just use extra energy

Is heat slower than sound?

Heat is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. In a vacumn particles travel at over 299792458 m s^-1. So that is a lot faster than vibrations (Sound Energy)

Where is visible light found in the electromagnetic spectrum?

Electromagnetism is manifest along a continuum between slower radio waves and faster energy gamma waves. Visible light can be found in the range between infrared light (slower than waves of visible light) and ultraviolet light (faster than waves of visible light).

Do faster atoms have more potential energy than slower atoms?

faster atoms have more kinetic energy than slower atoms do.

When energy is removed from a liquid do the molecules move faster or slower?

I might be wrong, but I would say slower. If you mean energy in form of heat, molecules move slower if the liquid is colder, so if a liquid releases energy in form of heat (turns ¨cooler¨), than the molecules move slower. As I said, I might be wrong. Just my thoughts

Why is it bad if your alveoli gets coated with tar?

Because then the oxygen converts into carbon dioxide slower than it should in order for you to survive

Is the speed of sound equal to an electromagnetic wave?

No, speed of sound in air is much slower than the speed of light in vacuum.

Why velocity of sound is slower than normal in winter?

cause the air has less heat(energy) and will vibrate slower.

How are mechanical and electromagetic waves different?

Here are some differences between mechanical and electromagnetic waves.Mechanical waves can be either transverse or longitudinal. Electromagnetic waves are only transverse waves.Mechanical waves require a material medium to propagate. Thy can only travel in solids, liquids and gases. Electromagnetic waves do not require any medium. They can travel in vacuum also.Electromagnetic waves travel at the speed of light. Mechanical waves travel at much slower speeds.Mechanical waves propagate by the vibration of molecules of the medium. Electromagnetic waves travel by the oscillations of the electrical and magnetic vectors of a photon.

Is heat slower than sound in air?

Heat being transferred in three modes. They are conduction, convection and radiation As far as conduction and convection are concerned they may be slower than sound But radiation is by electromagnetic wave. It has the speed of light. So it is not slower than sound.

What happens when particle of matter have less energy?

it will move slower.
