The instruments light dim for night driving when the headlights are turned on. Check to insure that your dash dimmer switch is on high. If it is, then you have a problem with either the dimmer switch or the wiring.

as far as headlights, side mirrors its all the same from 99-01, transmission it is the best to contact local salvage yard , they have parts interchange book to see what fits

The fuse box is on the passenger side of the dash board open the passenger side door and you will see it on the side
Headlights may use an auto-resetting breaker which is doing just that--however there may be a short in system that is causing breaker to "trip" Isolate one-at-a-time to try to determine where problem is. Try to get a wiring diagram, and then check the grounds for the headlights. You can also try replacing the fuse for the headlights, perhaps the fuse isn't seated properly for whatever reason.
