I have a 2003 Honda recon 4 wheeler. I thought I was having float issues with the Carb. I ordered a carb kit. Having the same issues. Problem, when cranking the motor over fuel squirts out of the small brass tubes that lay flat on the bottom of the carb, this is where the air filter would hook up. I have triple checked that the float is shutting off and I am certain that this is not my problem. In order to make it fire and run I have to screw the idle screw? almost all the way in, it will fire and run but it revs up and down, if I give it some throttle then it cuts out and dies, like it is then starving for fuel, I have tried to adjust the only other adjusting needle that is located on the bottom of the carb, it doesn't seem to make any difference where I adjust it? I am wondering if it might be something else besides carb problems? Like valves or whatever??Please help, thank you
