work off the cash by selling stuff then sell the car and buy a used one cheap used cars can be great

You have a bad throttle pedal assembly. Had the same problem. You should notice it more on cold days. The engine light should come on. If it goes off it's still a problem but take it to a dealer. You cant fix it your self. It's covered under warranty. The dealer should be able to read the code for it even if the engine light is off.
