Buoyancy
Turtle float swimming, the face, raise the knees and encircle the knees with arms. To recover standing position, the legs are extended and the body raised to an upright position.
Swimmers feel their weight lighter in a swimming pool because they displace a large volume of water . The water exerts similar amount of buoyant force to that of water displaced by they body of the swimmer and this pressure cancels a certain amount of weight of the swimmer .
Because the air in our lungs and body makes us buoyant (float)
its because of the gases that are naturally in the body like methane and oxygen that make the body float.
Swimming is something when a person swims in a body of water.
Because your body is less dense than the water. More dense bodies go down, in fact you don't float back to the top, the water falls down not leaving room for your body but up to the surface.
Quite simple really. If you wanted to float I'm sure it would be harder with alot of muscle pulling you down. Having said that, though, because you have alot of muscle you can keep yourself afloat, you don't really have to worry about just floating. Also in competition it doesn't matter how much muscle you have, because it may weigh you down, but with those muscles you are still going to go extra fast.
Something unusual about swimming in the dead sea is that the salt saturation is so high, that the salt can support your body weight, so that you almost always float.
Not all marine mammals float, but the ones that do float because the body of the animal is sitting on the surface of the water and that makes the pressure of the body of the animal float because the body is rising from all the pressure. Hope this helped -stupid factory
The Great Salt Lake has a high concentration of salt in the water. Considering that about 70% of a human body is water (with a very low relative concentration of salt) a human has a relatively low density and that makes a person float while swimming

The body will float in the water after it has drowned for a while. The body will not stay down.
