A negative, B negative, AB negative, or O negative
"As far as I can tell AB negative can only receive AB negative. It is one of if not THE rarest blood type. You can find out for sure by looking up blood types on Google I think I went to wikipedia the last time I checked."
For information we cannot rely on wikipedia, because it can be changed by anyone :=)
And the answer for your question is AB- can receive all blood type with rhesus negative (A-, B-, O-, and AB-)
It is the rarest type only 0.7% people have this type, but in term of recipient is not.
O- is the only one can receive O-.
Basically blood type with (+) can receive (+) or (-), and
blood type with (-) only can receive (-). That is why O- is the hardest in term of blood transfution.
Blood type AB (also called the universal recipient ) can receive blood from all the blood types (O, A, B, AB) because it has no antibodies that attack the antigens in the red blood cells (RBC). Additionally, a person with the blood type AB can only give blood to people with blood type AB because other blood types have antibodies A/B which will attack the antigens of AB which are antigen A and B
Blood antigen - carbohydrates present in the surface of the RBC that triggers the reaction of the antibodies. They are used to determine the person's blood type
Blood antibody - proteins produced by our body that react against blood antigen causing coagulation
AB- can receive from O+, O-, A+, A-, B+, B-, and AB-. But not AB+.
Type AB is the universal receiver. A person with AB can receive O, A, B and AB blood.
You can receive an AB unit with matching Rh phenotype, if you are AB Rh negative
The unit should be negative for all transfusion transmissible diseases
A person with the AB blood type can receive blood from any of the blood types A, B, O, as well as AB. They are not limited to receiving blood from only AB donors.
Any A, B, AB, or O but preferably AB.
type ab- is the rarest, with an average of 1% of the population having it.
People with AB+ blood can receive blood of any type. This is the reason why AB+ is called the universal recipient.
the four types of blood are A, B, AB, and O
If you have B- blood:You can give to people with: B+, B-, AB+, and AB-.You can recieve blood from people with: B- and O-.
More than just two blood types are not compatible with each other. The four basic types of blood are: A, B, AB, O(not counting Rh). Type A blood can only receive blood from type A and type O. However, type A blood can donate their blood to type A and type AB. Type B blood can only receive blood from type B and type O. However, type B blood can donate their blood to type B and type AB. Type AB blood can receive blood from every type, A, B, AB, and O. However, type AB blood can only donate to other AB. Type O blood can only receive blood from type O. However, type O can donate their blood to A, B, AB, and O. So, AB is the "universal" reciepient and O is the "universal" donor.
When donating blood they can only be given to a specific blood type. Type A can be given to A or AB blood types only. Type B can be given to B or AB blood types only. Type AB can only be given to AB. While type O can be given to all type A, B, AB and O blood types.
Possible blood types of the child with a mother who has A blood type and a father who has AB blood type are A, B, and AB. :)
type ab- is the rarest, with an average of 1% of the population having it.
People with AB+ blood can receive blood of any type. This is the reason why AB+ is called the universal recipient.
On the contrary, bloodtype AB is not rare. Bloodtype AB is a great blood type since it can recieve blood from both bloodtypes A and B. The rarest bloodtype there is, is bloodtype O.
Type AB blood has no antibodies, so people with this blood type can receive blood from A, B, AB, and O types,
the four types of blood are A, B, AB, and O
The children will have type AB
The blood type AB is a universal receiver meaning it can receive blood from blood types A, B, AB, and O.
AB positive blood type is known as the universal recipient which means that persons with AB positive blood can recieve transfusions from any blood type, positive or negative. Generally, transfusions of the same blood type or of blood type O can be given. Persons with blood types that are RH positive can be given transfusions of either the positive OR negative subtype, but persons with RH negative blood types can only receive transfusions from other RH negative blood types.
If you have B- blood:You can give to people with: B+, B-, AB+, and AB-.You can recieve blood from people with: B- and O-.
only o i believe, but o can go to ANY other blood type. :) hope this helps but u might wanna check mi answer. sry if its wrong. jus tryna helpp. :D
