I do not believe it would be easier to push do to the fact the crate would then be top heavy and would have the tendency to tip over easily. Unless the center of gravity was towards the bottom and Johnny was pushing at the bottom.

Is friction is always benificial yes or no why?

Ways that friction are beneficial: Standing - Friction allows you to stay in position instead of moving around even when you do not want to Braking of cars - Similarly, friction makes it possible to make a car stop Ways that friction is nuisance: Wear and tear - Friction produces heat, which would flatten shoe soles, smoothing the gears or other mechanics in machineries

What effect does friction have on a rolling ball?

If there was no friction then the ball would just slide instead of roll

Why does friction never speed up object?

You may be thinking of drag instead of friction. Friction between the floor and your foot increases your speed.

As soon as an object starts moving what replaces static friction?

Kinetic Friction replaces Static Friction when an object is in motion.

What solid figure has 6 flat rectangular faces?

a rectangular prism (fancy word for a looking at in in 2 dimensions instead of flat on the paper)

What has six rectangular faces?

What is a Metric Equivalent unit?

The metric system is not exactly equivalent to any other system, but there are units of measurement for anything that you may wish to measure. If you are accustomed to weighing things in pounds, you have the option of weighing them in kilograms instead. If you are accustomed to measuring length in feet, you have the option of measuring length in meters instead. You may be used to degrees Fahrenheit but you can use degrees Celsius instead.

Does a ball rolling down a hill cause static friction?

Friction is one force causes a ball to roll downhill. The smaller the static friction coefficient, the more liable the ball will be to skidding instead of rolling. Static friction is involved in a ball rolling downhill.

What shape does a triangular prism have that a rectangular prism does not have?

A rectangular prism is a cuboid which has 8 vertices (corners), while a triangular prism has six verticesA triangular prism is like a cylinder but with triangles instead of circlesA rectangular prism is the same

In what way is friction useful to a skydiver?

Friction (from air resistance) stops them from falling faster and faster continually - instead they reach a maximum velocity and stay at that speed until they pull their parachute. Friction prevents them from plummeting to their death.

What does standing by your conviction mean?

Your conviction is a personal belief that you have about something, and standing by it means keeping to this personal belief instead of abandoning it when something tempts you.

Is a boat sailing on the ocean is an example of rolling friction?

No, it is not. Rolling friction occurs when a round object rolls across a surface. A boat on the ocean is not in contact with any solid surface. Instead of rolling friction the boat is subject to drag.
