They cost around $10-20 depending where you buy them and what features they have. I would recommend buying a bigger fish tank like a 10 Gallon. They are very cheap, about $10.00 maybe $12.00. A 10 Gallon will do better and make the fish happier. The only reason to get a smaller tank is if you don't have very much space. You and your fish will be happier with a 10 Gal though. Your fish will grow larger, be more healthy and live longer. The rule of thumb is 1 Gal for each inch of fish you have.
