I just had this problem with my Jetta. Somehow one of my AC lines got bent and was pressing against the fan keeping it from blowing very well. You should get it fixed as soon as possible. It ended up burning out my compressor and the AC clutch. Was about $950 to fix.
Hire a fix-it guy?
If your ac is making noises or is blowing hot air instead of cold
Could be anything? Best to have a pro look at it
55 degrees to 60 degrees
you need to get your ac filled again cost about 60 bucks you need to fill it every 3 or more years.
does fan door motorized or on a vaccuum line when you switch from AC to defrost?
I had this same problem and was told that the rear ac lines are leaking. It doent make sense. but that is what i was tol $1100.00 to replace the lines I asked why would the rear work and not the front if the rear was leaking and they could not explain.
If the AC was working well yesterday and blowing cold, however, today their is no air being released, the AC could have been too high for two long. The AC tends to freeze up and has to be turned off for a while until thawed. If the blower motor and resistor needed replacement they may have officially blown and need replacement in order to work at all.
your blower may be bad. your ac clutch may be bad
Possible low freon.
Drive belt slipping? Compressor seizing and not turning?
Actually, the AC is always blowing cold air. Its just that sometimes your nerves can't feel it because your body is used to it.
