I'm no expert but I just noticed on my '03 Denali (15mins ago) that there is a separate serpentine belt on the a/c pump. On my truck the belt is off but still sitting there somehow. Haen't tried to fix it yet, I'll update when I do.
There shouldn't be any water or antifreeze in a tire! They are filled with air, not liquid. Antifreeze/water mixture is commonly used in tractor tires for extra weight to increase traction
You don't put water in your radiator, you put antifreeze.
I dont see the purose of the antifreeze. I think you are looking for it to maybe serve as a thermal mass. Better yet, replace the antifreeze in your design with a phase change material---now your cooking.
A balloon filled with -2 degrees Celsius air will move to a room to a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius because of the collision of the air particles.
Basically to get our hole filled.
it is filled in the overflow tank. the cougar has a sealed system and there is no radiator cap like typical cares
Excess should blow out the ventNot necessarily bad. Remember this next time: Just make sure that in the antifreeze overflow that its filled to the "full" line, nothing more. Also take off your radiator cap. You should be able to see antifreeze. If not, add it. - andey78
Because there is antifreeze int he system and it takes a while to burn through. Also replace the bottom hose too. <> If it smokes from under the hood, It has antifreeze on the engine exterior, You can wash it off. Or just drive it and it will burn off. If it smokes from the exhaust, There is engine damage.
It is in the front behind the grill. It cannot be filled directly. Add coolant/ antifreeze to the "jug" on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
replace your radiator cap it may be letting hot coolant travel back to the overflow can.
Water in contact with ice will cool to zero degrees Celsius (equal to 32 degrees Fahrenheit).
If you didn't get it warm after the work and then refill the tank - the system was probably closed when you filled it. It's possible once the thermostat opened (or just as the coolant leaked past), the fill you gave was used as it filled the system past that point.
