Probably correct. The exhaust should smell sweet. Nothing else smells like antifreeze. A cheap fix that I have used many times on a lot of different cars. There are several different brands of radiator sealers that have copper in them. Old generic name was Liquid Glass. Follow the instructions and it should fix the problem as long as the only place water is going is the exhaust. If it is getting in the oil, this won't work. The oil will look like chocolate milk if it has oil in it.
