When I answered this before I didn't know about the heater blowing cold air. All of that stuff I put in the other answer still applies but First I would check to make sure the radiator actually has enough anti freeze in it. One other thing that can cause a car to overheat is the water pump but I don't think that is your trouble. Good luck.
