CALIPER MAY BE FROZEN GUIDE PIN COULD FROZEN TOO SOME TIMES PADS STICK AND DONT RELEASE
Not really, unless they were adjusted too tight but you would have a dragging affect at all speeds and would smell the brakes burning. This is for brake shoes only as pads are not adjustable.
Most places charge by the hour, but the having your drum brakes replaced could cost anywhere from $200 to $600 depending on how bad the drum brakes are.
You need to bleed the brakes.
When break pads begin to wear out they are designed to squeek to let the driver know that they are on their way out. When you hear squeeking during regular use of your brakes, it is time to think about having them replaced.

Answer: Most likely warped rotors. This can be eliminated by either having the current rotors machined or replaced (or both if manufacture recommends it). Visit your local dealer or brake specialist.
Depends on what's wrong with them. You could be talking about replacing components, having repairs done to the ABS system, having a fluid line replaced, etc. Narrow it down a little bit.
It has to do with the ABS most likely mine would engage or slip when coming to a stop.I replaced the hub that has the sensor on it and have not had a problem since.I took out my ABS fuse under the hood till I got it fixed. Just disables the anti lock part of the brakes. I thought it was safer then rear ending someone.
Tell us what problems you are having.
All cars have the brake system designed to make a loud screeching noise when the pads get low. Most people do not do the proper maintenance on their brakes, which is lubing of parts. This maintenance ensures even wear of the pads and or any problems will be noticed. Most braking is done with the front brakes so rear brakes tend to last much longer. Five plus years before having to do the rear brakes is not unusual.
no not really
Having ABS does not change how you bleed the brakes. Bleed them as you would if it did not have ABS.
