Take off the positive battery cable, whereas this is the power source for the vehicle. Leave the cable off for 30 minutes then place it back on. Once on, turn over the ignition so your radio, interior lights etc.. come on. Let it sit for 20 seconds, then start the vehicle. This should eliminate the maintenance light. If it comes back on within 10 minutes, you may want to have a computer diagnostics done on the vehicle; to look for faulty codes etc...
