After replacing the relays and fuses your turn signals still wont turn on in your 1989 Pontiac Bonneville LE the hazard lights turn on fine but the turn signals wont work what could be the problem?

I replace my flasher fuse.Now they light up but won't blink.

More than likely a bad flasher relay for the turn signals. The hazard lights use a different flasher relay.

Your Pontiac has a problem in the electronic block, which is controlling the turn signals, the tail and brake lights and etc. It shouldn't be a big deal.

It sounds like you're going to need to track down an electrical problem. It could be the turn signal switch that is inside the steering column, but if it is get someone to look at it who is trained to remove your air-bag. It could be as simple as a fuse, or as difficult as replacing the switch (which is a real pain)

It sounds like your having electrical shorts in your steering column. I'd start by replacing the turn signal lever.
