∙ 12y agoIt takes roughly about 30 min. I just took the first course of a 5 day pack, which is 2 pills (for a vaginal bacterial infection). I threw up 2 hours after I took them & then started freaking out. I called the pharmacist and she said I should be fine as long as I didn't throw up in the first hour. I probably lost some of the effects of the drug but should continue using the rest of the pills and not worry about this mishap. Hope this helps.
