If this is anything like the problems I have been having with my 1999 Chevy Lumina, there is a gasket in the intake manifold that was designed poorly (used plastic instead of metal) and eventually deteriorates. I had mine fixed for almost $500 dollars in a shop and then 2 weeks later started having the same issues again. I talked to the shop today and they claim there's another gasket between the engine and the timing cover that is now leaking. Hope that helps...
