All 3 brake lights are not working on my 2000 Grand Prix GTP I checked the bulbs and fuse and I was wondering what else could be wrong?

The dim lights on a 1994 Grand Prix could go out when the headlamp switch is on if there is a short in the wiring for the headlights. There could also be a problem with the bulbs themselves if they were touched during installation. The oils in the fingers can short out new headlights.

i dont think you can but my dad has a 98 grand am gt with that (they've had that since 96) and it stopped working and now you have to turn the lights on manually..

More likely the problem is with the reostat on the sending unit,(in the tank).
