∙ 14y agoa dachshund is one of the most popular breeds in the us. they were once breed to hunt badgers and chase them out of their holes. that is why there hind legs are so flexible and are able to bend backward. a dachshund comes in 2 sizes, the miniature and the standard. there are also 3 coats to them, the smooth, longhaired, and the wire haired. their coats need to be brushed regularly and they dont need many baths because they dont smell. they are the cutest dogs in the world.
