Atoms have 3 parts: Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons. In a neutral atom, the atomic #= number of protons, and everything else is equal to it.

For example: Hafnium, Atomic#=72= 72 protons, 72 neutrons, 72 electrons= neutral atom.
