Headlight switch.
The 1996 Mitsubishi headlight fuses are in the fuse box. The fuse box is in the engine compartment. There are two separate fuses for the headlights. The location of the fuses can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
If it has a power distribution panel under the hood--check fuses and relays in there
If the headlights flash on and off, there may be a problem with the bulbs or fuses. There may also be a problem with the battery connections or wiring.
First check your fuses if none are blown then check the switch.
It is possible that both of the fuses are bad for the low beam headlights and the cruise control. A loose ground wire could cause the fuses to blow.
If the headlights are not working correctly on a 1990 Corvette, the fuses or lights could be going out. Replace the old fuses and check that all wires connected to the lights are functioning correctly.
The switch.
Check your fuses by your left foot in the driver's seat. There is a panel with a bunch of fuses and it could be simply a burnt out fuse!
All fuses are in the under hood fuse box. The headlights are directly controlled by the TIPM (computer inside the fuse box) and may not have a fuse.

Start by checking your fuses. Then bulbs. Then switches in that order.
