Alternator light on a Honda accord lxi stays on until you press on the gas?

On some car models alternator light stays on until approx 1200 rpm when the engine starts. I'm not sure why this is, maybe something with the rectifier or diodes ...
If this phenomenon is new for the car then checking drive-belt condition and tension is good idea. Ift he belt is ok, and you still have that problem, you will have to take the car to a shop that can check your alternators condition.
