Just the transmission mount? That is freaking insane. The mount itself is somewhere in the $100 range. It should take no more than 90 minutes for a professional mechanic to change it. $200 to $300 would be a better price. Shop around...

Just ordered the motor mounts from the Buick dealer in Dalton, Ga, came in over night, the transmission mount near the fire wall costs a little over $300. Hope this helps.Vernon
Dealer? Napa? Auto Zone? Advance auto parts? Unfortunately, the Motor Mounts for a 97 Park Avenue are a "Dealer Only" item. One very expensive piece of cast iron and rubber.
I had it done at the dealer, it was $260 for front mount on passenger side.
Call a service center at any GM dealer. They will know.
They are a little more expensive and a little harder to instal.
Ask your Kia dealer parts department to fax the diagram to you. Turn on your fax machine.

You might want to check your motor mounts. If it is the motor mounts you just have to jack the motor up a little not to much and change the mounts out. Its easier to do on a lift though.
